EltaMD Luminous
I love this sunscreen. It has a very nice rosy tint, which works well with my skin tone. I am very pale with pink undertones. Most tinted sunscreens have a more "tan" color to them which looks very unnatural on me. This looks great and blends extremely well under my tinted moisturizer, or just on its own. It has just enough tint to smooth out my skin tone.

On its own, meh
The secret to this one is to mix it 1:1 with the UV Physical Tinted. I'm not so pale that this on its own blends in seamlessly, but I'm not tan enough for the classic UV Physical Tinted either and was not a huge fan of the matte finish. I mix the two together and it has the most gorgeous texture and glow, and matches my skin tone PERFECTLY.

Effective but Thick
This sunscreen is fairly thick and leaves a slight white cast. It works for my fair skin but it may not for darker skin tones. It is fine but I prefer the other formulas by Elta MD.

Not great
This was my second time trying the Luminous SPF, and I won't be purchasing again. It's very thick, is hard to rub in (and I have fair skin), and is pretty drying.

great luminous layer!
I love this product! Very comparable to SuperGoop's Glow Screen but I feel it's lighter and blends easier!

Smooth texture but whitecast
I love eltamd sunscreens, tinted or not. But this one leaves a way worse whitecast than the non-tinted options I have! The first one I got, the texture was really off and they had to send me a second one. This one is a really creamy, nice, soft Moussy texture which I love. But the whitecast is just odd. I love to wear their tinted sunscreen as my base and then just some spot coverup over it but I can’t do that with this one because I look like Edward from Twilight a bit.

Finally a tinted sunscreen that doesn’t turn me orange
I’ve always wanted to be able to wear the Elta MD tinted sunscreens because I love that I can get a completely physical sunscreen (I have acne prone skin that doesn’t play nicely with chemical sunscreens) that isn’t sticky or oily feeling. Most of their tinted sunscreens have a wonderful finish, but I always end up looking orange. I have fair skin that is warm/neutral and for whatever reason even the slightest warmth in products tend to turn orange on my face. This leaves a slight white cast at first, but it blends in within a minute and helps to neutralize and brighten my skin. I love it!

Great for pale skin!
I love this stuff. I've been using it as a foundation! I'm super pale so the tint works great for me.

Thick, tricky tint
Was so excited to try this since both my daughter and I find most of the tinted EltaMD sunscreens way too orange. Well, this one is way too white. It's so thick that it leaves more of a white cast than EltaMD's white/untinted sunscreens(!) Maybe it would work for a very fair/porcelain complexion, but definitely not my fair & ruddy skin or my daughter's fair neutral skin. Sticking with EltaMD's physical tinted suncreen and SkinCeuticals tinted 50.

Not as described
I love Elta MD products but this one is not how it was described. It has a white cast, not a rosy color, and has no luminous elements to it at all.
