Such a Nice Soap
This is such a good bar of face soap. I've been trying to use less plastic, so I've been using a lot of different kinds of face soap bars, and this one is definitely the nicest I've tried. The smell is great and it leaves my face feeling clean. It is a little pricey for the size, and doesn't last as long as some of the other bars I've used, but it's a much higher quality than any of the other face bars I've used. Also, the packaging is not plastic! So that's a huge perk!

Love this soap!
I've been wanting to try this soap, but my skin tends to be oily so I decided to wait until the winter months to use this. It is super moisturizing without being too emollient, and sometimes I leave it on as a sort of mask after I've used my Clarisonic Mia 2 with it. Even when I don't leave it on, it cleanses gently without stripping moisture from my skin, and I LOVE the faint, fresh scent. My skin is left baby soft and clean without being squeaky clean like my harsher cleansers I use during the summer. Now that it's warming up outside and getting more humid, I'm surprised I can still use this and not get breakouts. My skin is soft, clean, and smells wonderful. I've been using it since the end of February, so a month so far, and it doesn't look like this bar has gotten any smaller. Expecting this to last for months. I also love that using bar soap minimizes packaging.

It smelled sooooo good right out of its little box! ....but alas, only 1 star
It's a tiny (tiny!) bar of soap which was disappointing, but more disappointing was that the smell, which was crazy awesome when I got it, faded from the bar within a few days... sad face. So now when I wash my face with it, it just smells like a bar of natural/castile soap (think Brommer's). And I have to say, I can easily source all natural/castile, organic, bar soap locally that is equally as well crafted, at much better prices (and much bigger), so I'm pretty sure I won't be buying it again from Herbivore Botanicals.

Gentle and so soft

Great morning cleanser
I use this bar in the morning. It's good for skin on the oilier side and I prefer to use it in the morning because I usually sleep in a heavy moisturizer/facial oil. Using a cleanser that is soapier in the morning helps wash away old nighttime products and control my oil production during the day, helping to reduce clogged pores and keep my makeup where I put it. It also has a lovely, natural smell and a pretty pink color that looks nice in your soap dish.

Good, Not Great!
I love the color and smell of this soap which is honestly probably why I'm on my third bar. It cleans excellently but it can be a little drying. I only use it on my hands. Too drying for my face.
