HydroPeptide Solar Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 30 physically blocks 97% of UV rays that can cause sunburn and premature aging as it hydrates and rejuvenates your skin. A soft smart-tint automatically adjusts to your skin tone for flawless coverage while antioxidant-rich acai extract neutralizes free radicals. Niacin calms redness and galangal root reduces excess oil production to prevent shine.

Best tinted moisturizer ever
I have used this product for over 6 years now and it is my go-to moisturizer, even in the summer, with a tan, I can add a few drops of darker tint and I get glowing beautiful sheen to my face. I LOVE this product and it makes my skin feel marvelous

Finally found a sunscreen I could wear
Wow, I'm so surprised by the one star reviews (although there are not many). I have always hated sunscreen and this is the first one that is light, doesn't pool in my oily pores, and has a very slight tint that evens my red skin tone out. I get so many compliments on my skin when I wear this sunscreen. A few notes...yes there is a scent but it is kind of fresh, light and it goes away quickly. I hate scent and am very allergic to most all perfumes but this does not bother me at all. yes it is tinted so when I wear a hat or something I do get a bit of color on the headband, true of anything tinted and makeup. I have never had it pill up on my skin, but I put it on directly over serum, not moisturizer as I do have t-zone oil and it has some moisturizer in it. Maybe it is not working over what they put on before? I hope they never stop making this stuff, I love it. I did try the non-tinted 50spf which I also really like as it does not leave a white sheen on my skin. Same great coverage and feel.

Very natural finish but still gives you some coverage. Perfect everyday or "gym" makeup. I also really enjoy how lightweight the formula is! Highly recommend :)

I have very sensitive skin and burn easily, within 20 minutes in the sun. I tolerate this product well. Follow the instructions about pressing between your fingers before applying. I find the tint is better when you do that. Also. cut the tube if you are running low and store in a Ziploc bag. There's a week's worth of product you can get to at the bottom!!

My long-time holy grail SPF
I've been using Solar Defense for about 5 years now, almost every single day, with or without makeup. I do wish it was a little more tinted than it is but it really does even out the skin tone, smells great and has great ingredients. Here's a tip: If you think you have run out, you can cut the container open and there is still almost a week worth of product at the bottom.

I love the universal tint and high factor rating. It blends well and lightly covers imperfections. Best for those who don't have a need for heavier coverage that a foundation would provide. When I tried to layer foundation over this, it pilled. A primer didn't help. Best worn solo, doesn't play well with others.

LOVE This Sunscreen
I may have found the Holy Grail of sunscreens. While it looks white at first, once you apply it, the microencapsulated tint is revealed, preventing that "whiter shade of pale" problem I have with so many natural sunscreens. It isn't the lightest in texture, but it's not too heavy, either. The finish is semi-matte on me. I don't mind the fragrance - and I have had no problems with peeling or turning orange. My only quibbles - I wish the SPF were higher, and I wish it came in a larger size.

Very strong fragrance
Unfortunatly I will not buy this product again as the fragrance is too parfumey. The texture is nice and light and the addition of peptides is a bonus. I was a bit surprised by the lack of tint or color in this "tinted" version. Overall it would be a worthwhile sunscreen and primer if it wasn't for the overwhelming melon fragrance.
